Will Power turns a Quarter Century

Ok I was going to wait until I had pictures, but they're on Ashley's camera and probably won't be able to get to them anytime soon.
So anyhow, this past weekend I turned 25, I can rent a car now without the additional fee, yay!
It wasn't going to be a big deal really, but in the week heading up to it, I was talking with some friends and we decided what the hell, lets do this. And it became a Vegas weekend.
Booked a couple nights at Treasure Island on the Strip, and Friday right after work, we picked up the crew and headed toward the glowing lights of Las Vegas.
Included in this trip were Ashley, Mark, Jamey and Jenny all in the car for the ride. And Ross flew in first thing Saturday morning and met us there.
The drive down was fairly uneventful, except for going into quadruple over-time in our game of 90's Trivial Pursuit. Teams were me and Jamey vs. Ash, Jenny and Mark. Now to preface, Jenny and Mark are both from Kentucky, so we'll just say the teams were basically 2 on 2.
Critical answers of Conan O'Brian and 'Doom' (The game following Wolfenstein 3d) came up clutch and solidified the victory for me and Jamey.
All in all, getting there went fairly quickly (4 hours 45 min) and we just walked the strip and played some that night.
Woke up early the next morning to catch the football games, played out at the pool, had a little nap. Then went VIP at the club Christian Audigier, which apparently it was me and Heidi Montag's birthday's, she had a few more people in her entourage, including people I think filming The Hills. So it was a really fun night. Yada Yada, went to bed around 5am or so. Everyone sleeps in the next day some, and head back home. I'll update with pictures later when I can get them from Ashley.
Super Drew is coming into town tomorrow afternoon and we're going to be heading up to LA to catch a Dodgers game and possibly a Padres game on Saturday as well, should be a good weekend! Miss you kids back home!

Kings Peak Camp Day 2

Kings Peak Day 2

Me and Ty hiking it up. Believe this was about mile 3 in our 30 mile round trip jaunt.

This is us takinga look at a Moose, two Moose were right by the trail we were following so we decided we needed to take a bit of a break because it was a Momma and a Baby Moose and despite looking relatively non-threatening, they are really pretty large and we didn't want to have a test. So we sat down decided it would be a good time for lunch and hopefully they'd leave. So about the time we sit down for lunch so did they, they just sat right by the trail. So we ended up just having to hike around them.

Me and Dyl crossing a small river.

Me and Ty taking a break on the hike after we had gotten out of the densely wooded area and into a nice lush area.

And here's just me and T, chillin on a stripped funny rock.

Here is by our Camp the first night, you can see a small Dyl at the base of the lake.
Dyl having our delicious Tin Foil dinners.
Picture of where we were headed, Kings Peak is the darker one right in the middle which looks waaayy far out there.
And here is our Camp on our second night of the hike.

Kings Peak Day 1

So for Labor Day Weekend me and a couple of my best friends Tyler and Dylan decided to ascind the highest point in Utah. Kings Peak is 13,528 feet in the air, the 19th highest point in the United States, and a 30 mile round trip hike.

I landed in Salt Lake City Thursday evening and was picked up by the crew and we headed to Dylan's and packed our gear and headed up to Henry's Fork, the base from where we were to hike in. (Pictured) Me, Dylan and Ty from left to right.

A quick stop at Woody's in Evanston Wyoming for a great burger and game of Extreme Hunter and we were on our way.

Notice the happy excited faces prior to beginning on our endeavor. This is the three of us setting up camp on the first night, we slept in Dylan's truck in freezing temperatures and shivvered ourselves to sleep, just what we needed before a good 30 mile hike.

It's been a Minute

It's been at least a minute or two since I've last written and for that I apologize, I have been one busy kid out here lately. Primary reason for no updates however, would be due to the fact that we've had no internet or cable at home for about 2 weeks now. Which truly feels like living in the dark ages, I've been more social, read more books, and probably overall more productive, but it was just a weird sensation. Following shortly will be updates from our hike to Kings Peak.
