At one of the cabins we had rented while we were in Brown County, yes this one actually had a Port-A-Potty. There was an actual bathroom in the cabin so we never actually had to use this, but humorous nonetheless. Clearly my dad and Jen were amused.
Me and Chris, not sure where we are here, I think this was one of Manda's Pre-Graduation parties which we had a good time at.

Haha just love the expressions in this picture. This is again at one of Manda's Pre-Graduation parties.

I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.

Indiana Memories Part 1
Ok Indiana will have to be broken into a few sections here, first off me and Jen got in a little sooner than Chris and Dave and we joined Manda on campus to try and find her cords. A hilarious trek across 90% of the campus to a building Manda should have known ensued. Including asking some poor Asian girl for directions and the girl asking Manda if she was a new student to which Manda had to reply "no I'm actually graduating" and the Asian girl was a first year student with a map and clearly dissappointed in the whole sitation.
We went down to a place called Bean Blossom Bridge in Brown County, and saw this awesome barn and lake farm house down in the woods some. It was just the coolest place ever!
Me and Jen at a trail on campus at IU and in the pouring rain, again part of the continued pursuit of Manda's cords.
Bean Blossom Bridge, and the 12th picture take because Mom and Dad weren't quite positive how to work the camera, so me and Jen were starting to get a little goofy, figuring the pictures may never be taken at all.
Just a building on IU campus, really cool old buildings like this were all over campus.
Ok so this post is quite a bit delayed, but just needed to get the pictures up and some thoughts.
Really loved Indiana. Was out there for Manda's graduation from Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana. Was really good to see the family again, and even better that Jen came with and we met Dave and Chris there! Made for a really fun time!

North Carolina Departure the remix
First off, Happy Mother's Day!!
Sooo, finally wrapping up my great week of vacation.
I'll refer back to the vacation as a whole in more detail throughout the week with color commentary and pictures for references, so stay tuned.
Anyhow, I write this blog sitting in a Hotel room in a Marriott in 'Cincinnati' even though I'm technically in Kentucky right now, something about Cincinnati's airport is not even in Ohio, strange, the Midwest can be nutty like that sometimes.
Soo, was due to fly out of North Carolina this even @ 6:30 to make it to San Diego by 10:00pm tonight (Mother's Day) and then from there I was going to drive through the night to be in Salt Lake by Monday morning, do some work, attend some training classes and visit all the friends and fam back home.
But all this changes, first off we were under severe Tornado watch in Raleigh/Durham where the airport is in North Carolina, as Riley is taking us to the airport, we're driving through pouring sideways rain, just looking at the looming black clouds, hoping that a funnel just doesn't start right over head. Finally end up making it to the airport, me and Nick fly out at about the same time, just on different airlines, but thankfully we're in the same terminal so we do the whole checkin and everything together. First off it must be noted, at check-in I was checked in by one of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen, she asks about Salt Lake, funn conversation ensues...anyhow, I digress, she assures me no flights are delayed or cancelled.
Get up to the gates, everything there appears to be in order, Nick takes off just fine, walk over to my gate and there is a huge line, everyone standing looking frustrated waiting for the people behind the counter to fix them. Evidently our plane had some problems getting into Raleigh and had to head back to its original starting place, but now was headed back. Only it would be coming a good 4 hours late, which was bad news for my flight taking off from Cincinnati toward San Diego...
So get up to the counter finally they change me up, I fly to Cincinnati, and am flying out to Salt Lake City first thing in the morning. Perks in this whole debacle: They were sold out of coach seats on the flight from Cincinnati to Salt Lake in the morning, so they unfortunately had to upgrade me to First Class, so I'll be riding in style. Secondly, they sent everyone else who had fliht problems to the Country Inn, here in Cincinnati, but by the time I got to the counter they had given away their last room, so I had to go to this gorgeous Marriott here instead, tough break :) Sat by people who also attended the Kanye West concert we saw in Raleigh, and chatted about the show for a couple hours, good times! Kanye is amazing.
Best Kanye quote right now:
"To whom much is given, much is tested" Trruuuuue that! :)
